RCG completed the restoration and renovation of The Campbell, an iconic and historic bar located in Grand Central Terminal on Vanderbilt Avenue. The project encompassed the main bar area, the Campbell Palm Court just outside the entrance, and the Campbell Terrace, a former taxi stand. The landmarked interiors of the main bar were meticulously cleaned and restored, with new light fixtures added to highlight the space’s original grandeur. Additional millwork was crafted to match the historical finishes and designs, preserving the bar’s timeless aesthetic. Enhancements such as air conditioning and herringbone-patterned wood floors were incorporated to elevate the space, while back-of-house areas and bathrooms underwent a full renovation, ensuring modern functionality within this cherished New York landmark.
