This project involved a complete gut demolition and fit-out to create a new Intensive Care Unit at Northwell Health’s flagship North Shore University Hospital. The scope included demolishing the existing patient floor and constructing 18 new ICU patient rooms along with dedicated spaces for staff and families. All work adhered strictly to ICRA standards and hospital protocols. The project required close coordination with various stakeholders, including hospital administration, patient and care teams on neighboring floors, specialty vendors, and the hospital’s engineering team, ensuring minimal disruption and seamless integration within the hospital environment.
