Project Details

This project involved transforming a white box space into a high-end art gallery, featuring cantilevered art walls, custom movable partitions, Italian marble, Swiss millwork, 16-foot long Danish wood floors, bespoke lighting, and level 5 finishes. Reidy Contracting Group is coordinating with Lendlease Group, responsible for the building’s core and shell. The Hill Art Museum will showcase a $600 million private collection, including Renaissance bronzes and works by modern masters such as Christopher Wool, Bacon, Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Twombly. Notable pieces include a 1950s Lucio Fontana glazed terra cotta crucifix, a 17th-century bronze “Corpus Christi” by Alessandro Algardi, Willem de Kooning’s “Clamdigger,” Picasso’s portrait of Sarah Murphy, and Ed Ruscha’s “Hollywood.”
