Spanning 40,000 SqFt, this arts and culture center is the home for artists and diverse cultural audiences at Governor’s Island. The center offers a wide range of amenities and spaces to meet artists’ and visitors’ needs, including studios, galleries, a performance space, and the island’s first indoor cafe. Reidy assisted in the pro bono construction of the center and made a charitable donation towards the project. LMCC at Governor’s Island acts as a hub for working artists and community engagement, hosting a range of free events, including open studios, performances, events, and workshops.
