Reidy Contracting Group (RCG) completed the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company’s first New York City location, Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop on the ground floor of the Empire State Building. The project involved extensive interior demolition and remodeling to meet the shop’s specific requirements, including the installation of wall- and ceiling-mounted equipment, structural modifications, and custom millwork. RCG’s team ensured the space was tailored to reflect Ghirardelli’s historic brand while meeting unique aesthetic, structural, and temperature needs for optimal chocolate and ice cream storage.
